This is why they released a new no-ride ticket option for those who only want to visit Disney to eat food. Well, the food experience got even better at Disney World with the announcement of the 7 foot long corn dog coming to Casey’s Corner.
The food at Disney World is so good and so well-known that an inmate on death row actually had a meal at Disney World approved as his final meal, which we reported on here. Also, Americans love food and there is no sign of that slowing down. On top of that, there is a rise in food challenges, which is another element of why the 7 foot corn dog is coming to Disney World.
Casey’s Corner 7 Foot Long Corn Dog
For only $70 you and your friends can share a 7 foot long corn dog at Casey’s Corner. This massive new corn dog is appropriately named “the seventh inning stretch”. This of course alludes to baseball since Casey’s Corner is themed all around baseball. However, there is also an eating challenge with this massive hot dog that has people talking.
Anyone who finishes one of the seventh inning stretch corn dogs by themself in under 60 minutes will win a free Mickey Mouse baseball jersey that says “Legend” on it. Of course, it takes a legend to eat 7 feet of corn dogs in less than 60 minutes. Not only do you win the jersey, but the corn dog is also free if you can finish it in time. This is a lot like many other food challenges. If you complete it, the food is free and you win something.
Why is Disney adding this 7 foot long corn dog to the menu? It’s a way to add to the variety of food options there. Plus, people love food challenges, which are especially popular on TikTok. Disney is leaning into this massive trend with their own food challenge. A 7 foot long corn dog at Casey’s Corner is a great idea and has many people excited.
Record-Breaking Corn Dog
As you might imagine, the 7 foot long corn dog will be the longest corn dog ever made. It breaks a record and guests can order it whenever. However, it’s worth noting that if anyone attempts the 7 foot long corn dog challenge, Disney will have paramedics on hand. Eating that much corn dog isn’t necessarily healthy. Disney will have people in place in case the fun challenge turns into a dangerous challenge.
Despite the fun of this, not everyone is excited about it. In fact, many doctors are sharing concerns over this menu item. They state that corn dogs aren’t healthy to start. This encourages people to gouge on an excessive amount of unhealthy food, all to win a shirt. They also state that even if you are splitting it with friends and family, there are still many negative impacts from eating corn dogs in general.
While the jury is still out on whether or not the seventh inning stretch corn dog is a good idea, people are excited. We saw a similar excitement over the announcement of park-flavored sodas coming to Disney World, which one of them was Casey’s Corner corn dog flavored. We expect this record-breaking corn dog to be a huge hit at Casey’s Corner, knowing how popular the corn dog bites already are there.
