Farmland USA to Replace Dinoland USA at Animal Kingdom

Farmland USA replacing Dinoland USA at Animal Kingdom

Dinoland USA has been a staple at Animal Kingdom since 1998, however that will soon no longer be the case. Dinoland USA, just like dinosaurs, is about to become extinct and will be rethemed.

Farmland USA will be replacing the much loved Dinoland USA. Disney recently demolished Primeval Whirl with no explanation as to why or what would be replacing it. This was foreshadowing to the end of Dinoland.

We know quite a bit about Farmland USA already. The new area will share an insider look at the American farm with guests. TriceraTop Spin will become When Cows Fly and will be the same attraction just with a different theme. Instead of flying on a dinosaur you will fly on a cow.

The all popular Dinosaur will be rethemed and renamed Frantic Farm. The attraction will be similar, but with an updated theme. Instead of a time traveling car, guests will ride in a tractor. You will be enjoying a day at the farm, when things start to go wrong. You get word that a tsunami is coming and will sweep your crops and animals away. You need to get the last harvest in before this happens. The track layout will remain the same as the current attraction.

On top of all of this, Disney will be adding a live petting zoo/farm where The Boneyard currently exists. Guests will be able to learn about what it is like working on a farm and how food gets to your table. You will even be able to see a live cow milking!

Lastly the restaurants will serve food, both produce and meats, grown in Farmland USA, similar to Living With The Land. We are excited for this retheme and think it will fit very well in Animal Kingdom!
