Disney debuts a creepy new parade float. The float is called “Circle of Life” and is designed to take a literal approach to the hit song from The Lion King.

This new float debuted in the Festival of Fantasy parade this week, but is causing quite the stir. Many parents are disturbed by the sight of the float as it shows young kids through adults essentially wearing only their underwear as they go in circles.

They find this extremely inappropriate for the kids on the float as well as those watching. It’s also inappropriate for the adults to be wearing such little in a family place. It’s almost worse than Disney allowing women to go topless, which we reported on here.

On top of that, it just looks creepy and off-putting. While people understand that the goal is to be artistic, they would prefer Disney just add Lion King characters to the parade instead. They believe that this is a boundary too far.

Meanwhile, some people support this and believe that Disney should have more of this. They see it as a true form of art and show the creative side of Disney that they have recently been lacking.

This new float is expected to be a permanent addition to the Festival of Fantasy parade. However, if there is enough backlash, Disney will likely consider removing it altogether.
