Disney World will now open every day with a morning prayer. Starting this week, the opening ceremony at all Disney World theme parks will include a prayer to God.
This is an effort to appeal more to Christians, who Disney has alienated over the past few years. According to an internal source, Disney will have a guest priest or pastor say a prayer every single morning before the Disney World theme parks open.
They will pray that everyone has a good, safe, and magical day and thank God for blessing everyone with the gift of spending a day at Disney World. This makes sense as America is a Christian Nation and faith is on the rise in the United States.
Disney is also doing this to honor Walt Disney who was a Christian. However, a lot of people are upset with this news. Many atheists and non-religious people are mad that Disney World will open with a prayer.
They think it is disgusting that Disney would put prayer inside their theme parks and are calling it demonic and satanic. Of course, these people were celebrating when Disney removed The Bible from their hotel rooms, which we reported on here.
Overall though people are excited about this and happy to see Disney embracing prayer publicly. Only time will tell if this has a positive impact on the guest experience.
