Disney World is known for their cuisine. In fact, some guests take trips to Disney World just for the food. Whether you are dining at a quick service or a table-service, Disney has food to suit everyone’s needs. We just got word that a popular Magic Kingdom restaurant will be getting a new theme. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe will be closed and rethemed to a Taco Bell. Pecos Bill is famous for their Mexican food, however, Disney has decided to retheme the restaurant to a Taco Bell, which serves very similar food.
The new menu will reflect the typical Taco Bell menu you can find at any other Taco Bell. The price range for the items on the menu will be less than most Disney restaurants, but more than a standalone Taco Bell. The difference is the ambiance here will fit right into Frontierland. Think of it like you are at a Taco Bell in the good old frontier days.
Initially it was surprising to us that Disney would put a Taco Bell in the middle of Frontierland. It doesn’t fit the theme of the area. Then again, Disney used to have a McDonalds in Frontierland between Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney was able to seamlessly fit the McDonalds in Frontierland with the theming.
We are very excited for Taco Bell at Disney World. It begs the question if we will see Taco Bells pop up across other parks. We may see one in Mexico at EPCOT and Dinoland at Animal Kingdom.
