Breaking news, Muppet Vision 3D is moving to the Magic Kingdom. It will take over the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.
Then, the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will move over to Hollywood Studios as seen in the concept from Disney. This is fitting because The Laugh Floor is set up as a theater with a preshow room. While there will need to be changes made, it will be a fairly easy move from Hollywood Studios over to Magic Kingdom.
Meanwhile, going the other direction makes as much sense. Monsters Inc. Laugh floor will replace where Muppet Vision 3D currently sits. Again, the set up is perfect, it’s just a slight retheme of the entrance, queue, and theater. This move makes so much sense.
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will have a home in the new Monsters Inc. land coming to Hollywood Studios. Meanwhile, Muppet Vision 3D will move to the Magic Kingdom. This move to Tomorrowland makes slightly less sense, however, Disney will find a way to make it work.
It’s a far more seamless fit than Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the middle of Frontierland. This swap by Disney is one of the greatest moves they have made and keeps everyone happy, except, for the fact that they are retheming Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. That news has everyone devastated.
