This news has devastated many people, and they’re shedding tears because of how sad it is. Every single night, Disney has three shows with fireworks. Luminous: The Symphony of Us at EPCOT and Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom are both canceled completely.

Meanwhile, Fantasmic will continue, but from now on, without the fireworks, which are minimal. According to the experts, Disney shoots off hundreds of tons of fireworks each year. These fireworks are adding massive amounts of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, which is having a direct impact on the environment.

A source mentioned that if Disney wants to continue to launch fireworks, they need to find a way to offset their carbon footprint somewhere else. They are maxing out their carbon emissions as a company. In fact, Disney is actively looking at adding more solar and wind power to their parks to do just that.

Many people are outraged by this and say that Canada is doing more harm than Disney, with all of their wildfire smoke. They believe that if Canada won’t put out their fires, Disney shouldn’t have to put out their fireworks.

For now, Disney is looking at alternatives like Drone Shows or projection screens to replace the fireworks across property.
