A family brought their dead grandpa to Disney World. According to the family, their grandpa always wanted to visit the Magic Kingdom.
He saved all the money he could to afford one trip there. However, he became extremely sick and was unable to visit the parks before he died. His family wanted to honor his wish, so they decided to pack up their van and take a road trip with the corpse.
They put him in a wheelchair and dressed him up with sunglasses and a hat so cast members couldn’t tell that he was dead. Then, they took him around the park and on a few rides. Ironically, the first ride they went on was the Haunted Mansion.
The grandpa always wanted to ride Space Mountain, and his family wanted that for him. However, when they were loading him into the rocket ship, his hat and glasses fell of,f and cast members realized something was wrong.
They called the police to do an immediate investigation. Upon realizing that the man was dead, Disney security promptly arrested the family for disorderly conduct. They were then kicked out of Disney World and are currently facing a lifetime ban.
It is worth noting that they are appealing the ban as their intentions were wholesome and good. However, there is no indication on whether or not Disney will grant their appeal. This is the second time this has happened.
