Disney casts Elizabeth Warren in live-action Pochahontas. As expected, she will play Pocahontas herself.
This makes sense as she claims she has Native American ancestors and is Native American. In fact, of all people, even Donald Trump recognizes this truth. He has been known to call her Pocahontas out of respect for her Native American ancestry.
It’s also worth noting that Elizabeth Warren will be the first-ever United States Senator to star in a lead role in a Disney Movie. This is an incredible move by Disney and quite a political statement.
However, despite this monumental achievement, people are not happy with it. In fact, many people are upset with Elizabeth Warren for accepting this role.
Many people in the past have criticized her for falsely claiming to be Native American. To say the least, this is a controversial casting call. On top of that, many people are wondering if Warren can even act.
A lot of people think Elizabeth Warren will be a terrible Pocahontas in the new live-action Disney movie. In good news though, Disney is casting Chris Pratt to play John Smith in the new movie. This is not a shocking decision as Disney likes Chris Pratt and he looks quite a bit like John Smith.
This is almost as controversial as casting Jada Pinkett Smith in the live-action Tangled, which we reported on here.
