Disney World Will Soon Require Guest Uniforms

An initial look at Disney World guests uniforms

A trip to Disney World in the 70s when it opened is way different than a trip now. Many of the attractions, restaurants, and shops are different. However, there is one more notable difference, which is how people dress. Outfits at Disney World are getting out of hand, which is why Disney will soon require all guests to wear uniforms.

Uniforms at Disney World are not new. In fact, all cast members wear costumes/uniforms. They serve two primary purposes. One is to fit with the theme of where they are working. Disney is all about immersing their guests. Cast Member uniforms are one way to do this. Also, Disney requires them so they don’t have to worry about their employees dressing inappropriately. It’s for this reason that Disney will soon require all guests to wear uniforms.

Disney World Requiring Guest Uniforms

Disney has a loose dress code. In fact, this can sometimes cause problems. People show up to Disney World dressed inappropriately for a place that is made for families. This is typically because Disney adults forget that the parks aren’t made for only them and they can’t wear whatever they want in the parks. It’s this loose dress code that led to Disney banning shorts and skirts, which we reported on here.

Unfortunately, this rule clearly didn’t work. People continued to wear shorts and skirts and Disney didn’t enforce it. As expected, we continued to see people wear inappropriate bottoms as well as inappropriate tops inside the parks. Disney attempted to solve the dress code issue, however, they were unable to do so. Now, they are going to the extreme to solve their dress code issue.

Starting in 2024, Disney World will require all guests to wear a uniform to enter their theme parks. The uniforms will be similar to school uniforms that many private schools require students to wear. This new rule will apply to both adults and kids. However, as expected, there will be different uniforms for men and women. Guests will also be given the choice to wear long pants or shorts and skirts due to how hot it can be in Florida.

Guest Uniforms Controversy

It will cost guests $50 for a kid’s uniform and $70 for an adult’s uniform. As we noted earlier, all guests will be required to wear a uniform at Disney World. This is yet another expense, like paying for Wi-Fi, at Disney World that people don’t want to incur. A family of four with two kids will need to pay an additional $240 for their uniforms to visit the parks, but wait it gets worse.

If you go to Disney World for just one day, this is not an issue. However, very few people do that. Most people go multiple days in a row. That means that guests either need to buy multiple uniforms or wash their uniforms each day. In fact, rumors are swirling that Disney may double the price to do laundry in their hotels because they know more people will be going there to wash their uniforms.

Realistically, families will likely spend nearly $1,000 extra for their uniforms. The worst part is, that Disney won’t let you into the parks without one. They will actively crack down on people not wearing uniforms. As you may expect, many people are furious about this. Not only is it going to be costly to families, but it also takes a lot of fun and personality out of their trip. This will also put a lot of Disney Etsy shops out of business.

It is ridiculous. Walt Disney is rolling over in his grave. It is also a Woke controlling issue. Disney you have gone to far. Get rid of the Left agenda and bring back old fashioned morals. That is the problem with this country.

This is ridiculous. Is someone starting a petition to get rid of this terrible rule? It is insanely expensive to go to disney to begin with. I dont want to also look ridiculous!

Absolutely not acceptable. This is a way for them to make more money. Send the people that don’t comply to the dress code home! Don’t punish everyone!!!!
