Hallmark and Disney are partnering up for a new Christmas movie. The name of the new movie will be “Christmas at The Castle”, here is what we know so far about the plot.
Lily Grant, a single mother and talented baker, wins a trip to Walt Disney World with her daughter, Emma, for Christmas. Struggling with the recent loss of her bakery, Lily hopes the vacation will bring some much-needed holiday cheer.
Meanwhile, at the park, she meets Alex Morgan. He is a handsome Disney cast member who plays Prince Charming in the parades. Alex, a former big-city executive, left his corporate job to find happiness. However, he’s still searching for a deeper meaning in his life. When he encounters Lily and Emma, he’s drawn to their warmth and the bond they share.
As they spend time together exploring the park, Alex and Lily discover they have more in common than they thought. Emma makes a wish upon the park’s Christmas tree for her mom to find happiness again. Slowly, the magic of Disney begins to work.
On Christmas Eve, during a magical snowfall at Cinderella’s Castle, Alex surprises Lily with an opportunity to reopen her bakery in the park. With love and a new beginning in sight, Lily realizes her holiday wish has come true. All thanks to a little Christmas magic and the charm of a Disney prince.
The two mega companies will join forces to merge the magic of Disney with the magic of a Hallmark Christmas film. In fact, we have seen film crews around Disney World already starting on this movie. This is almost as exciting as The Purge being filmed at Disney, which we reported on here.
