Disney World bans crying inside their theme parks. This new rule applies to both crying Disney adults as well as kids.
This is due to the “annoying and childish nature of crying”. In fact, anyone caught crying inside Disney World, regardless of age, will first receive a warning. Then, if they continue crying, they may be removed from the parks for the day.
This is similar to Disney’s ban on farting, which we reported on here. However, many people feel like banning crying is more egregious. A lot of Disney Adults think that this is discrimination. They see Disney World as a place where they can be their true self and show all of their emotion.
It’s only fair that they should be allowed to cry at their parks. On top of that, many parents are mad that kids aren’t able to cry in their parks either. They understand and recognize that it is a normal emotion for kids.
Kicking kids out of Disney World for crying is not fair or just. In fact, because of this many people are staging a “cry-in” at Disney World. The plan is to go in front of Cinderella Castle as a big group and cry.
This is to show Disney executives that crying is a normal emotion that should not be banned inside their theme parks.
