Tower of Terror is being rethemed to a Stitch Ride. The new ride will be called Experiment Gone Wrong.
In the new ride, guests will enter a Galactic Federation research facility. In the pre-show, visitors are told they are there to observe the behavior of alien experiments. However, everything goes wrong when Stitch escapes and starts messing with the facility.
Stitch playfully wreaks havoc, opening all of the alien cages and letting them loose. It’s up to you to capture the aliens and get out safely. However, in the process, Stitch cuts a critical power wire, which causes your ship to rise and drop suddenly, like the Tower of Terror.
The rethemed ride will include multiple screens, much like Guardians of The Galaxy – Mission: Breakout at Disneyland. It will also feature hit songs from Lilo and Stitch and the new live-action Lilo and Stich movie as well.
At one point, Stitch will even burp up chili dogs in your face. This of course is a nod to Stitch’s Great Escape from Tomorrowland. Overall, people are excited about the new Stitch ride.
Stitch continues to be one of the most popular characters of all time, especially with the new movie coming out. However, many people are sad that the Tower of Terror is being closed for the new Stitch Experiment Gone Wrong ride.
