Breaking news, a new Disneyland is coming to Ohio. It will be a $100 billion project and will be built in Cincinnati.
This will be the third Disney theme park in the United States and the most ambitious. According to an internal source, this project has just been approved by the Walt Disney Company as well as the state of Ohio.
It will be 50,000 acres, which is almost double the size of Disney World. They will build five parks there, but so far only two of them are confirmed. The first park will be Disneyland, much like all of the other Disneylands around the world.
The second park will be Marvel Infinity Kingdom, which is an entire park based on Marvel movies. There will also be more than 30 hotels, 5 golf courses, 100 pickleball courts, and much more.
The new Disneyland in Ohio is expected to be a fully immersive experience and Disney won’t even allow cars on property. Guests will be required to use Disney transportation like monorails, trains, busses, gondolas, golf carts, and more.
Disney decided on Ohio because it is near the center of the United States. Also, the weather is overall good in Cincinatti year round. It doesn’t get too hot or too cold.
There is no set opening date yet, but experts believe it will open sometime around 2035, based on how long other Disney projects take. It may also open in phases so they can start making money earlier.
