This decision is not very controversial, and the only people complaining about it are Eagles fans. However, many people are not happy that the NFL is describing the play as “very gay” and find it offensive.
They feel like the NFL could have used a more inclusive way to deliver the news. Despite this, they stand by the decision to ban the tush push from the game.
Only time will tell how impactful this decision is, but it will likely make the game much more enjoyable to watch.
