Disney is adding swear words to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They will add some of the most popular swears, but will not use the most vulgar swears of course.
The reason behind this decision is that Disney wants to safely expose kids to these swear words at a young age. The world is full of profanities on TV, in movies, and online, which kids are being exposed to.
Instead of them learning the worst swears from these sources, Disney would rather be the ones teaching your kids these swears through their popular characters. According to an official study, many parents also prefer that their kids learn swear words through characters like Mickey Mouse instead of random videos online.
Despite the science leaning one way, many people are shocked and angered by this announcement. They don’t think it is appropriate for Mickey to be swearing in front of kids. In fact, many parents suggest that if some are okay with it, that doesn’t mean that they are okay with it.
They don’t want their kids learning swears from Mickey Mouse or from any character, for that matter. So far, the leaked footage of Mickey Mouse swearing has created mixed feelings among many people. Many adults find it funny, but not the ones who have kids who will be watching this.
