Did you know that Disney World has cloud machines? They make clouds, which help provide shade on hot days at Disney.

Disney secretly installed multiple cloud machines across property in 2020, during the COVID pandemic. However, they are well hidden, so unless you are looking for them, you wouldn’t know they are there.

How the machines work is they take in water, pressurize it, and pump out giant clouds into the sky. It’s an extremely expensive process to operate and costs Disney $50,000 per day.
The clouds last for around three to four hours before they completely dissipate, which is why you won’t always see clouds above the Walt Disney World theme parks. Because of the high cost to operate, they typically only turn them on once per day, during the hottest parts of the day.
This creates cloud coverage to keep guests cool for the time being. Of course, if it is already a cloudy day in Lake Buena Vista, Disney will not turn on the machines. This is Disney’s first attempt to control the weather, and so far it has been successful.
An internal source has mentioned that Disney is hoping to partner with the US Government to produce clouds that make rain. We all know that the government already makes rain clouds, and Disney wants to have access to that technology as well.
