Disney is adding helicopters for transportation to their parks. For only $1,000, you and up to 6 guests can fly in a helicopter from park to park.

These will be called the Park Hopper Choppers. For example, if you want to go from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT and don’t want to deal with the monorail, you can get a private helicopter to take you there.

What’s cool is that the trip will only take 4 minutes from takeoff to landing. The longest trip is from the Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom, which is only a 6-minute flight, and also only costs $1,000. The other cool thing about these helicopter flights is that they pick you up and drop you off at a special back entrance to each of the parks.
Not only is this extremely convenient by reducing how far you need to walk, but it also allows you to go through a special, shorter security line. The idea behind this is to offer a faster and more efficient mode of transportation for those willing to pay.
The Minnie Vans have been so successful that Disney has decided to extend this to flying as well with the Park Hopper Choppers. While people are generally excited about these, they do feel that the price is rather steep just to save a few minutes in transportation.
However, others wish that Disney would extend this to take people from their resort to the theme parks as well. This will likely happen down the road if the Park Hopper Choppers are successful.
