Breaking news, Elsa’s Castle will replace Cinderella Castle at Disney World. Starting this fall, Disney will demolish Cinderella Castle in order to make way for Elsa’s Castle.

They are doing this to promote Frozen 3, which is coming out in 2027. It’s expected to take a year to build the massive new castle that is double the size, which is why they are beginning construction this fall.

While this is being done to promote Frozen 3, they will keep her castle up indefinitely. This is because Disney has announced Frozen 4, 5, 6, and 7 already, which we reported on here.
That means that Elsa’s castle will likely stay up for the next 20 years, at that time, Disney will decide whether or not they will go back to Cinderella Castle.
Overall, people are not happy with this. They think that Frozen is overplayed and is becoming too much of a focus. On top of that, Cinderella Castle is iconic and Disney shouldn’t be removing it.
However, others are fans of this decision. They are excited that Disney is finally updating something that is extremely outdated. They think Frozen is the perfect retheme for Cinderella Castle.
