Disney is now offering a Magic Carpet flying experience. For only $5,000, you can soar on Aladdin’s magic carpet, through the mountains.
Essentially riders will strap on an authentic Magic Carpet and when ready, will jump off the edge of the mountain. They will then soar down the mountainside and enjoy the scenic views while they fly.
Disney also has speakers installed on the Magic Carpet to play “A Whole New World” while you soar. It’s worth noting that no prior flying or parachuting experience is needed, however, participants will need to sign a waiver before flying on the magic carpet. Also, you must be 18 years or older to partake in this experience.
This is part of Adventures by Disney and is designed to give guests a fun and immersive experience. However, many people are worried that this is extremely dangerous, especially with no prior flying experience needed. This is why Disney requires guests to sign a waiver before they fly in case of death and/or injury.
Of course, this is nothing new for Disney. As we reported here, Disney is building a roller coaster designed to kill people. They also have other extreme experiences like the ziplining experience from Cinderella Castle. Overall many people are excited for this new flying Magic Carpet Aladdin experience from Disney. It’s by far one of the most thrilling experiences they have offered, but also one of the most deadly.
