You can now spread ashes inside Disney World. In front of Cinderella Castle, there is now a dedicated space to spread loved ones’ ashes.

The official name for this location is Ash Mountain. Disney World is a haven for spreading ashes, however, in the past, it’s been against the rules. In fact, people were oftentimes kicked out and banned from Disney World for spreading ashes.

This is a huge issue on The Haunted Mansion. Disney knows that people want to spread their ashes at Disney World, so they are now allowing it. However, they are giving them a special location to spread these ashes so they aren’t all over the parks.
Spreading ashes has already been a huge hit amongst Disney fans. In fact, people are already waiting in line for more than 30 minutes just to legally spread the ashes of their loved ones.
In fact, Disney is already considering adding Lightning Lane as an option so people can whistle past the graveyard and skip the long line. Many people are upset that Disney is allowing people to spread ashes inside the theme park.
They feel this isn’t very family-friendly or appropriate for kids to see a pile of ashes in front of Cinderella Castle. However, others are excited that they can finally bring deceased loved ones to Disney World.
